About Us: CAUG is an independent group of software developers and users of Microsoft Access and related products. Our mission is to meet and share information, techniques, and ideas, the fourth Thursday of each month. Visitors are welcome! Come check us out.

Membership: Membership is absolutely free and mostly consists of being on the CAUG email distribution list. Member experience varies from seasoned pros to Microsoft Access newcomers. CAUG can't be everything to everyone and we don't even try. If you like, simply attend meetings that interest you and skip those that do not.

Location: CAUG is hosted by the New Horizons Computer Learning Centers in Chicago.

New Horizons is located at:

200 West Monroe
Suite 900
Chicago, IL 60606

Phone: (312)-222-9400

Our Next Meeting: THURSDAY, January 26th, 2012 / 6 p.m.

Topic: Access Kung Fu - Tap into your inner VBA Sensei

In this session we are going to do a deep dive on the Enum object and classes in Access. Enums are a convenient way to group together values for use as constants. Classes are a powerful method to retrieve data and leverage your code over and over again through out your application. At the conclusion of this session you would have learned about: - Using Enum to declare constants and how to use them in code, functions and subroutines. - Using classes to define objects that can be reused through out your app.

Speaker: Juan Soto is Senior Project Manager for his company, IT Impact Inc. and has recently been honored by Microsoft with the title of Access MVP.

To Attend: For more information or to RSVP, please email us at info@caug.com. Because of building security, you must RSVP to attend. RSVPs must be received by noon on the day before the meeting. It's also important to know you're coming so we can have an accurate head count for ordering food.
