The topic for the November 1999 CAUG meeting was "Putting your Access Database on the Web". It was presented by Chris Monaghan, CAUG Webmaster and President of Business Data Designs.

Here are some resources to help you learn more about this topic:
You can get the CAUG website (which features Active Server Pages and a back-end Access database) up and running on your own PC. Download the file caugweb.zip. It includes all the files and instructions you need. By the time you're done, you will have an Access/Web/Active Server Pages development environment to use for other projects.
You will need to install the Microsoft Data Access Components on your PC for the CAUG website to work. Download and install the file mdac_typ.exe.
Here is another item you will need. It is Microsoft's Personal Web Server. It is a full featured web server that runs on your Windows 9x, or NT Workstation machine. It is part of the Windows NT Option Pack 4.0. Don't let the "NT" part confuse you. It will install the Personal Web Server on your Windows 9x machine.
This is an excellent book that will help you learn more about Active Server Pages. Click on the pic to go to it in Amazon.
Finally, here is a really cool text editor. It lets you have many files open at once and you can simply tab from one to the other. It is called EditPad.
